Although we use Podio at work for collaboration, I'm a big fan of Basecamp for personal projects. Basecamp just released a big update to their iPhone app. The update includes some long-awaited key features for mobile, including:
- To-dos
- Search
- Making projects
The iPhone app also now supports cool new features in Yosemite and iOS 8 including the iOS sharing extension and Handoff. With Handoff you can be looking at a project on your phone and instantly open it up on your desktop.
Basecamp also added some other new features to the web app, including:
- Renaming files
- Creating templates from existing projects
- Downloading a group of attached files
With this update, Basecamp becomes a much stronger option for mobile project management.
