Square users can now connect their Square Register app to TaxJar to automatically look up sales tax rates by location. With over 10,000 sales tax districts in the United States, this is a huge benefit for merchants who travel. If you use Square and sell at events in different cities, you need to check this out!
Once you connect TaxJar to your Square Dashboard, you can look up the local tax rate and add it to Square. If you use Xero for accounting, all of your new sales tax rates (and sales tax collections) are automatically pushed into Xero as well.
